Childhood Floater/Teacher Aide

Cornerstone Learning Center - East Memphis is a licensed childcare center seeking Floaters to support:

• Infant

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma or GED and the ability to pass all background checks. Previous childcare experience is a plus.

Required Shift: Monday - Friday, Full-Time Hours

Compensation: $12 - $14 per hour, based on education and experience

Our Hiring Process

Main Job Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher with classroom activities in line with the center's philosophy and goals.
• Implement activities that promote growth in emotional, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Accept feedback and make improvements for program quality.
• Create and maintain a safe, clean environment for children.
• Build professional rapport with families to provide quality care.
• Physical ability to work around children, including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and meet all physical requirements.
