Child Development Schools in Clayton, North Carolina is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher and nurture curiosity, confidence, and growth in young learners. You will participate in hands-on activities, storytelling, and daily routines to create a warm, safe classroom where children feel excited to explore.
You will observe children, share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher, and communicate warmly with families.
As an Assistant Teacher at Child Development Schools, you will help create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. Working alongside your Lead Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth. From hands‑on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them. You will serve as a trusted partner to families, a positive role model for children, and an important part of our collaborative teaching team dedicated to making early childhood education engaging, nurturing, safe, and fun.
Pay: 13-15 per hour, based on experience and education.
