La Petite Academy in Evanston, IL is seeking an Assistant Director to join our caring team and help operate the school safely and effectively alongside the School Director. You will promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children and ensure licensing standards are met.

Responsibilities include stepping in during the Director’s absence, recruiting and retaining quality staff, and contributing to the school’s profitability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• In the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
• Help achieve profitability for the company.
