La Petite Academy is hiring an Assistant Director to oversee daily operations and support the School Director in delivering high-quality childcare. You will help ensure a safe, positive learning environment and guide staff to promote children's social, physical, and intellectual development.

The role emphasizes leadership, compliance with licensing standards, and teamwork to maintain a trusted, caring center for families in Fort Wayne and the surrounding area.

Qualifications

• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• Assist in promoting social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• In the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
