Job summary

Celebree School is seeking a Childcare Aide / Assistant Teacher in an entry-level role. You will support lead teachers to uphold the highest standards of care and education, ensuring each child’s individual needs are met, within a collaborative and inclusive team where your ideas are valued.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 11:00 am–6:30 pm or 9:30 am–6:30 pm. You will assist in creating age-appropriate lesson plans, help with classroom transitions, supervise activities, maintain a clean, safe

Responsibilities

• Assist lead Teachers in classroom management ensuring compliance with all regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide a welcoming & friendly classroom environment for children, parents & visitors.
• Assist in creating and implementing thorough, timely lesson plans that are age-appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree’s curriculum.
• Assist in managing effective classroom transitions.
• Assist and supervise children during all activities; counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
• Ensure that the appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment of the classroom are appropriately maintained.
• Present a positive and professional image at all times adhering to uniform requirements.
• Communicate effectively with parents, e.g., greeting by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates on their child’s development and classroom happenings.
