Celebree School in Charlotte, NC is seeking an entry level Childcare Aide / Assistant Teacher. You will support lead teachers, help maintain a safe, engaging classroom, and contribute to the school’s nurturing environment for every child.

As a team member, you will participate in planning age-appropriate activities, communicate with families, and uphold Celebree’s high standards of care and education while growing with the organization.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in classroom management ensuring compliance with all regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for children, parents and visitors.
• Assist in creating and implementing thorough, timely lesson plans that are age-appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree’s curriculum.
• Assist in managing effective classroom transitions.
• Supervise children during activities and use positive discipline techniques as needed.
• Ensure the classroom remains clean, organized and safe at all times.
• Present a positive and professional image, adhering to uniform requirements.
• Communicate with parents, greet by name, address concerns promptly, provide updates on development and classroom happenings.

• Ensure that the appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment of the classroom are appropriately maintained.
• Present a positive and professional image at all times adhering to uniform requirements.
• Communicate effectively with parents, e.g., greeting by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates on their child’s development and classroom happenings.
