Qualifications

• Education, training or commensurate experience in childbirth education.
• Experience in instructing patients, students, or families.
• Experience in obstetrics, labor and delivery, and/or postpartum.
• Experience with in person and virtual instruction.
• Certification as a childbirth educator.
• Relevant courses, licensure, or commensurate experience will be considered in lieu of certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide health education and support services to the community focusing on Family Health, childbirth, and related topics.
• Act as a crucial link to the hospital and prepare families for childbirth, hospital stay, and early postpartum period.
• Deliver in-person and virtual instruction with adaptable teaching styles.
