Job summary

Child & Family Support Services (CFSS) is seeking a Case Aide in Phoenix, AZ to support families reunifying with children. The role requires adaptability, compassion, and collaboration with families and the AZ Department of Child Safety.

Responsibilities include arranging visitations, fostering family relations, and assisting parents with planning, goal setting, and accessing community resources. Afternoon/evening/weekend shifts and county-wide driving are required. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license may be required.

• Arranging, transporting and supervising visitations between the children placed in out of home care.
• Foster positive family relations.
• Provide support in developing helpful parenting skills.
• Providing education for parents on how to access emergency assistance, support, and community resources.
• Assisting families with goal setting, planning, and other activities related to home management tasks.
• Documenting all services appropriately.
• Performing other duties related to the position.

Case Aides works in collaboration with the AZ Department of Child Safety to support families reunifying with their children.

Case Aide Job Responsibilities:

This position requires afternoon, evening, and weekend work. Adaptability in scheduling, driving throughout the county and working within communities of the families we support is required.

Case Aide Education/Experience Needed:

• High school diploma or GED

Case Aide Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid Arizona Driver's Licence with an acceptable 39 month driving record
• Reliable transportation, including proof of Insurance and Arizona Registration
• Candidates are required to submit a negative drug test
• Obtain an Arizona DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Complete a DCS Central Registry Check Report of Child Abuse and Neglect
• Complete Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid training
