Job summary

The State of Arkansas is seeking a Social Services Supervisor/Expert within the Division of Children and Family Services. This role leads and mentors frontline staff, strengthens decision making, and supports quality services for children and families through policy development and program initiatives.

You will coordinate with agencies and community groups while ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of work in human services programs or public service, including one year in a supervisory/leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate social services staff.
• Develop and implement policy and program initiatives to improve service delivery.
• Conduct program audits and quality assurance for compliance.
• Provide crisis intervention, case management, and legal compliance expertise.
• Coordinate with government agencies, community organizations, and advocacy groups.
• Lead statewide social services initiatives and high-priority programs.
• Oversee compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations.
