Job description

Position Overview:

The Child Welfare, Immigration, and Adoption Expert will evaluate performance indicators and use current data infrastructure to collect and maintain program records. This role requires precision and knowledge of child welfare and immigration systems to analyze and improve data strategies, both qualitative and quantitative. Responsibilities include interpreting data to assess performance, making recommendations for data architecture improvements, and ensuring practices align with industry standards to enhance child safety, health, and family unification.

Child Welfare, Immigration and Adoption SME Minimum Qualifications include:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in child welfare; early childhood development; social work or child psychology and counseling; or closely related field

Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of child welfare, immigration and adoption systems and best practices

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a state or local child welfare system directly with local programs or state-funded systems

Specific Experience: Experience with foster care, adoption, and childcare licensing systems governing laws, statutes, and regulations
