Job description

The Child Protective Field Support Analyst supports child protective investigators in the Department of Children and Families by reviewing investigations from the Florida Abuse Hotline, facilitating consultations on case assessment and safety planning, and coordinating appointments and records retrieval. The position is based in Brevard County (Rockledge) within the Central Region and reports to the Family Safety Program Office while co-located with investigative staff.

Key qualifications:

• Knowledge of Florida's Child Welfare system and FSFN, Word, Excel, and Access programs
• Ability to critically think through complex situations and provide strength-based feedback to staff
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple activities and follow-ups
• Ability to build and enhance relationships with partners and stakeholders for effective collaboration
• Experience in child protective services or related child welfare work preferred
