Job summary

Florida Department of Children and Families seeks a Child Protective Field Support Analyst to review investigations from the Florida Abuse Hotline and support the CPI and CPIS with critical information gathering. The role coordinates referrals, records, and staff scheduling to facilitate safe outcomes.

The candidate will work closely with investigative staff, report to the Service Center operations, and ensure accurate data collection using FSFN, Word, Excel and Access.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will understand Florida's Child Welfare system.
• Must be highly organized with the ability to multi-task and coordinate activities.
• Proficient with FSFN, Word, Excel and Access to analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff to coordinate referrals, appointments, and record retrieval.
• Conduct pre-commencement consultations and review records.
• Request and review school, law enforcement, medical, and prior provider records.
• Review records to support assessment and decision making.
• Interpret records to align with Florida practice models.
• Flag high‑risk cases and coordinate investigations.
• Coordinate referrals and staffing with CPI/CPIS as needed.
• Engage Subject Matter Experts to aid CPI decision making.
