Job summary

JusticeWorks Family of Services seeks a Child Welfare Case Specialist to support children and families in New Castle County, DE. This full-time role involves assessing needs, coordinating services, and promoting safety and well-being with some evenings and weekends required.

You will work with youth and families, applying our KidsFirst philosophy to foster stability and positive outcomes, and you’ll benefit from ESOP ownership, a strong compensation package, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and experience working with youth and families.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass all required background clearances and pre-employment drug screening.
• Availability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Review information from the County Intake Department and assess client needs
• Engage families in service and treatment planning to promote stability and positive outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services and update plans as needed.
• Transport clients using your personal vehicle when required.
