Wake County Department of Social Services is seeking a Supervisor for the Wake House Visitation Center in Raleigh, NC. The role oversees daily operations, ensures safe visits, and coordinates transportation and access for families.
Responsibilities include supervising part-time staff, building community partnerships, and expanding family-centered services at the center. This position supports a comprehensive visitation model and collaborative program development.
The Wake House Visitation CenterSupervisor is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and coordination of theSupervised Visitation Center, ensuring that visitation services are deliveredin a safe, structured, family-centered, and supportive environment. Thisposition provides direct supervision to part-time visitation center staff andworks closely with the Transportation Supervisor and other team members toensure visitation and transportation services are coordinated effectively.
In addition to supporting thedaily operations of visitation services, the Supervisor will workcollaboratively with Visitation Center leadership, staff, and communitypartners to support and expand a comprehensive visitation center model thatextends beyond supervised visitation.
The Supervisor will assist in developingand strengthening community partnerships that bring supportive services,resources, programs, and family-centered activities directly into thevisitation center. In collaboration with the supervisory team, the Supervisor will support the integration of these partnerships and resources into visitation center operations.
This collaborative approach will help maintain awelcoming, resource-rich environment that strengthens families, promotespositive parent-child interactions, and connects families with services thatsupport stability, well-being, and successful permanency outcomes.

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 12:00pm-8:00pm, with rotating on-call weekend coverage
Hiring Range: 25.34 - 27.72 Commensurate with Experience
