Job summary

The Children’s Village in Dobbs Ferry, NY seeks an Attorney – Program Legal Services to support campus residential, community-based programs, and family foster care initiatives. Reporting to the General Counsel, this full-time, in-person role requires NY bar admission and a J.D.

You will collaborate with senior leadership and program staff across CV locations, travel as needed, and ensure legal guidance aligns with nonprofit objectives while maintaining high professional standards.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and active New York State bar.
• 2–5 years of practice, preferably in family law, child welfare, or nonprofit work.
• Strong analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills; able to work in a team and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support campus residential and foster care programs to improve outcomes for children and families.
• Collaborate with the executive team, quality improvement, and social workers; travel to CV sites as needed.
