La Crosse Area Family YMCA in Onalaska, WI is seeking morning-shift childcare aides to create a safe, welcoming space for children from birth to seven years old and to support families with our core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest and appreciation for young children.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children infant to age 11.
• Ability to respond to inquiries from participants, members, staff, administration, or the general public.
• Perform first-aid functions when necessary according to infant/child procedures.

Responsibilities

• Promote youth development through hands-on learning environment.
• Provide children with opportunities to develop early language and motor skills through age-appropriate play and activities.
• Build relationships with families and the staff team.
