Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred; YMCA provides training.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stay active around children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children aged 6 weeks to 7 years.
• Communicate with parents and members about the program.
• Identify individual needs and provide appropriate care.
• Model positive behavior and redirect inappropriate conduct.
• Maintain attendance, incident, and safety records.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of equipment and facilities.
• Attend staff meetings to improve skills as directed.
