Job summary

Gateway Region YMCA in Washington, MO is seeking a part-time youth program facilitator to provide a safe, high quality experience for participants. You will lead educational and recreational activities aligned with program goals and maintain positive relations with staff, youth, and parents.

The role requires at least 16 years old and 1 year of experience with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers. You will help ensure policy compliance and deliver excellent customer service during all program

• Supervise youth at all times and be responsible for assertive discipline procedures.
• Responsible for all aspects of customer service – greeting parents and handling questions.

• Ensure YMCA policies and guidelines are followed at all times.
• Provide safe conditions for the children and refrain from engaging in activities that may be hazardous or negligent to the well-being of the children.
• Supervise youth at all times and be responsible for assertive discipline procedures.
• Responsible for all aspects of customer service – including greeting parents, handling questions and staying informed on program activities.
• Ensure the individual needs of youth are met for proper coordination of the program.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
