Job summary

Residing Hope is seeking a full-time, exempt trainer for the Caminos program to coordinate and oversee training activities, ensuring compliance with ORR and other regulators. This role supports staff development, tracks Relias assignments, and partners with supervisors to design targeted training plans.

The ideal candidate will have a social services background, bilingual English/Spanish fluency, and certifications in CPI and CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, or a related field is required.
• Trainer certifications in CPI and CPR/First Aid/AED are required or the ability to obtain them.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children or youth.
• Ability to read, write and speak proficiently in both English and Spanish.
• Immunizations proof per ORR guidelines.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supports all training activities of the Caminos program across departments.
• Oversees Relias online learning system assignments and tracking for Caminos staff.
• Works with supervisors to create training plans and document compliance.
• Meets regularly with supervisors to assess program needs and progress on training plans.
• Develops Caminos training plans addressing regulatory requirements and annual calendar.
• Monitors training plans to keep staff current with requirements.
• Leads one-on-one training for employees with performance gaps.
• Briefs leadership quarterly on adherence to the Caminos Training plan.
