Job summary

The DGS Office of External Affairs seeks an Assistant Attorney General to represent the Florida Department of Revenue in child support matters in Circuit Court and hearings. You will manage a heavy caseload, pursue paternity establishment, enforcement actions, and litigation to secure child support for families.

Responsibilities include document review, court appearances, case management, and legal research to support fair and efficient resolutions.

Qualifications

• Admission to the Florida Bar or membership in good standing in another state Bar with commitment to obtain Florida Bar admission within 12 months
• Two years of professional experience in law, legal research, teaching law, or administrative/judicial hearings
• Knowledge of legal methods, techniques, and skills for child support litigation and case management
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication abilities
• Competent use of work methodologies, computer applications, software, and office equipment
