The Oregon Department of Justice’s Division of Child Support in Gresham is hiring a Child Support Case Manager (Entry) to review cases, establish and modify orders, and support families.

Job Description: The Oregon Department of Justice’s Division of Child Support (DCS) is seeking to hire a Child Support Case Manager (Entry) for our Gresham office. Core skills to be successful as a case manager include attention to detail, consistency, and organization. Job Duties (in part)

Required Experience

Three (3) years of experience working with the public in person or by phone giving information about services and programs and solving customer problems/complaints. Experience must include the use of personal computers, web-based applications, and typical software such as Microsoft Office.

OR A Bachelor's Degree may substitute for the above experience.

AND Finalists must pass a comprehensive employment reference check and fingerprint-based criminal background check. A driver history check will be included for positions requiring state vehicle driving privileges. Adverse findings will be evaluated to determine eligibility for the position.

After one year and upon a successful completion of trial service as a Child Support Case Manager-Entry, employees will meet the minimum qualifications of Child Support Case Manager and be placed in the Child Support Case Manager classification (Salary Range (21) - $4,833- $6,713 monthly. 6% of which is the Public Employees Retirement System contribution). Current Division of Child Support case managers who are successful finalists will be processed as lateral transfers.
