Job summary

Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. in New Jersey is seeking a qualified Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) to join the Student Support Services team. The role requires a NJ LDTC certification and thorough knowledge of N.J.A.C. 6A:14, with duties tied to the child study team.

You will assess students, develop and implement IEPs, work independently as a CST case manager, and share findings with families to inform interventions. Strong communication and dyslexia knowledge are essential.

Must demonstrate the following:

• Thorough knowledge of N.J.A.C. 6A:14 and its requirements
• Performs duties as required as a member of the child study team guided by administrative code, state and federal laws and board policy.
• Assess and analyze a student's academic achievement and learning characteristics, utilizing appropriate measurement tools.
• Share evaluation and/or observations findings in written and oral reports with appropriate staff and families to provide effective interventions and program recommendations.
• Develops and implements an appropriate individualized education plan (IEP) for students who are eligible for special education and/or related services.
• Ability to work independently as a child study team case manager and collaboratively as a member of the child study team.
• Knowledge of dyslexia and strategies to support students.
• Superior communication skills
• Maintain positive, cooperative and supportive relationships with the administration, staff, students and parents.
