Job summary

The Findlay Hancock County Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Children Services Intake Investigator. This role focuses on child safety through thorough investigations, assessing situations involving children and families, and providing necessary support.

The ideal candidate will have strong investigative skills, a bachelor's degree related to human services, and experience in dealing with crisis situations. Various benefits, including medical coverage and a potential hybrid schedule, are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable under county insurance policy.
• Complete at least ninety hours of in-service training during first year of employment.
• Must live within 45 minutes of the agency.

Responsibilities

• Investigate allegations of child abuse and/or neglect.
• Gather information pertinent to child safety.
• Provide court testimony and prepare necessary documents.
• Develop and maintain relationships with families.
• Serve as on-call worker on a rotating basis.
