Job summary

Beacon Pediatric Behavioral Health in Jacksonville, Florida seeks a Clinical/Child Psychology Post-Doctoral Resident for a full-time, 12‑month residency. The role focuses on assessment, therapy/counseling, and ABA, with supervision of practicum students and collaboration with schools.

Anticipated start between July 2024 and September 2024; part-time extended options may be considered. Opportunities to pursue RBT training and licensure‑relevant experiences are available.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA-accredited program with pediatric/adolescent focus.
• Experience with autism, developmental disabilities, or challenging behaviors.
• Assessment experience with children including developmental, psychological/diagnostic, or psychoeducational testing; ADOS-2 preferred.
• Behavioral therapy and/or cognitive-behavioral therapy experience; ABA preferred.
• Ability to pass a Criminal History Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological and psychoeducational assessments.
• Engage clients in individual and family therapy using behavioral, cognitive-behavioral, or systems approaches.
• Provide training in behavior modification to parents, teachers, and other caregivers.
• Coordinate, organize, develop, and lead group therapy sessions.
• Supervise psychology practicum students and interns; perform related administrative tasks.
