Job summary

Family of Kidz seeks a psychologist to conduct evaluations in homes and preschools across the North Shore of Nassau County, NY. The role offers part-time or full-time potential and compensation per evaluation, with hours after school.

The candidate will use standardized tools and prepare detailed reports for families and oversight teams. Candidates should have a Doctoral Degree in Psychology and NYS licensure, plus relevant experience with autism and preschool-age children.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology and NYS licensure or permit.
• Experience evaluating children on the autism spectrum and preschoolers.
• Minimum 1 year in a setting supporting children and families.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations and collect social/developmental histories for children of various ages.
• Use standard assessment tools to evaluate cognitive, behavioral, and adaptive functioning.
• Write comprehensive diagnostic and psychological reports.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors, employees and families.
