Four Winds Hospital in Westchester is seeking a full-time, on-site Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to serve as Medical Director of a 15-bed unit. Salary is $380,000 annually. The role offers substantial support and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

The candidate will evaluate and treat inpatient C&A patients, coordinate care with external prescribers, and may teach medical students or pursue an academic faculty track. Start date is July 1, 2027 or later.

Qualifications

• Valid DEA number and unrestricted DEA license.
• Board eligible or Board Certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.

Responsibilities

• Unit Medical Director of a 15-bed child and adolescent unit.
• Evaluate and treat child and adolescent patients on an inpatient unit.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including program director, nurse manager, therapists, and nurse practitioners.
• Coordinate care with outside psychiatric prescribers.
• Teach medical students if interested; academic faculty position if teaching.
• Minimal on-call responsibilities.
