• Plans and administers therapeutic recreational activities in individual or group settings as part of a treatment/rehabilitation program.
• Evaluates clients’ functioning level reflecting physical, social, mental, and emotional needs for placement in recreational treatment programs.
• Instructs and monitors clients in leisure activities; observes and reports progress.

• Supervises and/or trains Activity Aides, volunteers, students, and direct care staff in recreational activities.
• Ensures activities meet client needs and safety standards within the unit or department.
