Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required.
• Experience explaining complex rules in simple language; ability to gather key details and assess needs.
• Experience working with diverse populations and partnering with community groups.
• Ability to assess urgency, prioritize tasks, and respond to needs while maintaining workflow.

Responsibilities

• As a Child Protective Services Worker, ensure safety and wellbeing of children.
• Engage with children, families, resource parents, and caregivers to promote safety and optimal outcomes.
• Conduct safety assessments and interviews related to abuse, neglect, or harm; determine care needs.
• Develop and implement multi-level strategies leveraging family strengths.
• Create reports, case notes, and testify in court; communicate with diverse populations.
