Job summary

The Department of Children and Families Southwest Florida seeks a Child Protective Field Support Analyst to provide real-time consultation to CPIs and guide protective investigations.

The role involves reviewing investigations, coaching investigators, and serving as a subject matter expert to ensure quality casework and appropriate service referrals, colocated with investigative staff to support training and QA activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Child Protective Investigator.
• Trained and practicing Florida's Safety Practice method.
• Active Child Welfare Certification from the Florida Certification Board.
• Valid driver's license and accessible private vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Review abuse hotline investigations and provide real-time guidance to CPIs.
• Conduct case consultations and observe investigator casework as needed.
• Serve as a subject matter expert to ensure quality protective investigations and referrals.
• Collaborate with investigative staff and support training and quality assurance activities.
