Zusammenfassung

UNICEF is seeking a Research Officer (NO-2) to provide technical, operational and programme support for child protection initiatives in the State of Palestine. The role covers development planning through delivery of results, including monitoring, data management and reporting.

The incumbent will contribute to CAAC and MRM efforts, ensure high-quality analyses, coordinate with partners, and support accountability for humanitarian action within the country programme.

Qualifikationen

• Education: university degree in international development, psychology, sociology, international law, human rights, international affairs, or other social science field.
• Work Experience: minimum of five years in related fields such as child protection, human rights, information and data management, or humanitarian/development programmes.
• Skills: Violence-Affected Support, Child Protection, Data Analysis, Information Management, Monitoring Verification and Humanitarian Programming.
• Language: Fluency in English and Arabic.

Aufgaben

• Provide professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for child protection programmes from development planning to delivery of results.
• Monitor and manage data, produce high-quality reports and analysis, and coordinate with internal and external partners.
• Contribute to UNICEF’s CAAC and MRM agendas and ensure documentation and responses to affected children.
• Support knowledge management, capacity building, and partnership development within the country programme.
