Job description

Community Services Institute (CSI) is hiring onsite Child Outpatient Mental Health Therapists to join our behavioral/mental health team. Our clinicians provide client-centered therapy services to adults, adolescents, and children via telehealth or in-person modalities. Clinicians must be familiar with trauma-informed treatments for families facing systemic barriers and mental/behavioral health challenges. They are required to complete paperwork (progress notes, assessments, treatment plans) in a timely manner, with support provided for administrative tasks.

About us :

CSI was among the first outpatient community mental health clinics to offer home-based therapy to families facing barriers to mental health care. Our community outreach model started after the shutdown of long-term psychiatric hospitals in the 60s-70s, replaced by outpatient services. For nearly four decades, CSI has been dedicated to social justice and accessible therapy regardless of circumstances. Our clinicians enjoy a hybrid model, seeing clients virtually, in-office, and in community settings.

Who we are looking for :

• Clinicians providing psychotherapy and consultation to children.
• Caseload of clients aged 5-12 years old.
• Collaborate with CSI's psychiatry and Therapeutic Mentor programs.
• Self-motivated fee-for-service clinicians who enjoy flexible scheduling.
• Complete assessments and develop goal-directed treatment plans.
• Some evening hours are required to accommodate clients.
• Maintain 22 billable therapy and consultation hours weekly.

Qualifications :

• Master's Degree (minimum 60 credits) in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.
• Eligibility for LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT licensure.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) highly desirable.
• Culturally fluent.
• Massachusetts CANS certification required.
