Job summary

Prosperity Workforce Solutions seeks a Child Life Specialist for a travel contract in Tulsa, OK. You will plan, implement, and evaluate programs to meet the non-medical needs of hospitalized children and their families, working as part of the health care team.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a 480-hour child life internship or fellowship.
• Master's degree preparation in child life studies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess the individual needs of children and families to plan developmentally appropriate activities.
• Document assessments, observations, and recommendations in the medical record.
• Orient/supervise volunteers in ongoing play and development activities.
• Participate in marketing, public relations, and community-based activities related to children's health.
• Support research and implementation of evidence-based practice.
• Maintain educational and clinical expertise by reviewing professional materials and attending conferences/workshops.
