Butterfly Effects is seeking part-time Behavior Technicians/BCaBAs to support children with autism by implementing ABA-based intervention plans under a BCBA. The role focuses on developing communication, social interaction, and self-care skills in a family-centered setting.

Earn $21.00 - $28.00 per hour with 9–15 hours per week and pathways to become an RBT or Board Certified Behavior Analyst, with educational and training support from the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Candidate should have a genuine love for working with children.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with children and families.
• Experience with children is advantageous.
• Interest in ongoing development and learning.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Observes, records, and reports client progress and daily behavior.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles consistently in all interactions.
• Assists clients to acquire academic and life skills.
• Communicates professionally with parents, analysts, trainers, and clients.
• Participates as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data entries in the online database.

Position Duties:

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
• Observes, records, and reports client's progress, as well as the condition and behavior of the client daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
• Assists clients, as needed, to acquire academic and/or appropriate life skills.
• Communicates in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
• Functions as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent and timely manner through our on-line database.
• Actively participates in continuous training programs designed to increase overall skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows BE policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Passion for Children: A genuine love for working with children.
• Positive Attitude: Strong interpersonal skills for working with children and families.
• Experience: Prior experience with children is advantageous.
• Continuous Learning: Interest in ongoing development.
• Transportation: Must have reliable transportation.
• Background: Must be able to satisfactorily pass a company background check.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves working in natural environments, occasionally requiring lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. and maintaining various postures for extended periods.
