Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a Child First Clinician to provide family-centered, home-based therapy for children and families impacted by mental health challenges in Carteret and surrounding counties, NC.

The role requires licensed clinicians (LCSW, LPC/LCMHC, or LMFT) with experience in child-focused psychotherapy, including work with very young children (0-5). A driver’s license and insurability are necessary to support home visits.

Qualifications

• Full or provisional license as an LCSW (A), LPC/LCMHC (A) or LMFT (A) - REQUIRED
• Experience working psychotherapeutically with culturally diverse children and families, including parent-child therapeutic work and play therapy with very young children (0-5 years)
• Valid driver's license, good driving record and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide Child First home-based psychotherapeutic intervention with young children and their caregivers using relational, dyadic psychotherapy (CPP) and other modalities.
• Engage families referred to the Child First program and collaborate with Family Resource Partners to strengthen caregiver-child relationships.
