Job summary

The State of Arkansas Department of Human Services seeks a Social Services Specialist to support the safety, permanency, and well-being of Arkansas children and youth through quality case management, client advocacy, and collaboration with families and community partners.

This position requires assessing client needs, connecting individuals to community resources, conducting home visits and risk assessments, maintaining detailed case records, and advocating in legal, medical, and housing

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree, experience in working with children and/or families.
• Experience with community engagement or community resources.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess client eligibility and provide individualized case management.
• Develop service plans tailored to client needs.
• Conduct home visits, interviews, and risk assessments.
