Job summary

Center for Human Development, Inc. seeks a full-time Child and Family Therapist to provide direct treatment in a clinic setting for children, adolescents, and parents. Responsibilities include psychological testing, treatment planning, and various therapy modalities, with PCIT certification pursued after hire.

Relocation assistance and first-month rent support are offered. Located in scenic La Grande, Oregon, CHD emphasizes work-life balance, flexible schedules, and generous time off.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work or related field.
• Two years of relevant mental health experience; or equivalent.
• LCSW/LPC or willingness to pursue licensure.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to diagnose and treat mental illness and emotional disturbances.
• Willing to work with all ages of children (0-18).
• PCIT certification or begin certification process upon hire.
• All Master level QMHPs must be credentialed as a mental health investigator or willing to pursue credentialing.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with other programs, agencies and the public.
• Knowledge of mental health treatment practices and psychological testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct treatment services in clinic to children, adolescents and parents.
• Administer and evaluate psychological tests; develop individual treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family and/or group therapy including PCIT.
• Maintain client treatment and progress records; prepare clear reports.
• Collaborate with other programs and professionals to coordinate care.
