Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Clinical Therapist to provide developmentally and culturally appropriate mental health assessments and counseling within a team-based environment. The role emphasizes collaboration with primary care, psychiatry, schools, and community partners.

The position requires a Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or social work, and active licensure as a Mental Health Professional or equivalent. BLS CPR and annual influenza vaccine are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or social work is required.
• Must meet criteria of a Mental Health Professional (MHP).
• Child Mental Health Specialist credential or progress toward credential.
• Active WA State Agency Affiliated Counselor License or Mental Health Associate License required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and contracts.
• Provide developmentally and culturally appropriate mental health assessments.
• Conduct individual and family counseling and develop treatment plans.
• Coordinate with psychiatrists, case workers, and schools to address patient needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and collaborate with team to support clients.
