Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters seeks a Mental Health Therapist (LCSW or LPC) to assess and treat children and families, integrating medical and behavioral care. The role includes developing treatment plans, delivering evidence-based therapies, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include on-call coverage as needed, submitting documentation for third-party reimbursement, and occasional travel to offsite locations. A Virginia license is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Virginia clinical license (LCSW or LPC).
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Mental Health or related field.
• Two years of post-license work experience preferred.
• Experience with evidence-based treatments for children and families.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilités

• Conducts clinical psychiatric evaluation and develops treatment plans.
• Provides evidence-based therapies to children and families.
• Submits evaluations, progress notes and plans for reimbursement.
• Coordinates care with other providers and community resources.
• May function in on-call capacity and travel to offsite locations.
