Job summary

The Little Gym of Summerville and West Ashley is seeking part-time Youth Fitness Instructors for weekday mornings, with weekend hours possible. Classes run with The Little Gym Curriculum and provide all training—no prior experience required, just a love for children and having fun!

We offer flexible scheduling, performance-based bonuses, free uniforms, opportunities for advancement, and ongoing training and development as part of our team in Charleston, SC.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training provided.
• Available for weekday mornings (8:00 AM–1:00 PM).
• Ability to work with children and maintain a safe, fun environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes based on our curriculum and teaching method (training provided).
• Provide outstanding customer service and membership experience.
• Create a fun and nurturing environment while ensuring participant safety.
• Communicate effectively about skill progression and class information.
• Assist with set-up and clean up of the gym before and after classes.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.

We are currently seeking part‑time instructors for weekday morning classes. Weekend hours may also be available, if desired.

The gym's morning hours range from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Monday - Friday.

The gym's weekend hours range from 8:00 - 2:00 PM with tipped birthday parties from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

We can be flexible with your schedule and can work with a combination of days for the right person! Just let us know about availability when applying.

A Youth Fitness Instructor at The Little Gym of West Ashleytakes the reigns and is a leader of Serious Fun during our regularly scheduled parent/child, pre-k, and grade school classes. Every class is taught utilizing The Little Gym Curriculum, creating an experience unlike any other. We provide all training, so no experience is required - just a love for children and having fun!
