Job summary

The Illinois Association of School Administrators seeks a Child Development Lead (Family Center) to support Early Head Start and Birth to Three standards within Evanston’s District 65 Early Learning environment. Primary duties include leading infant/toddler classrooms, coordinating care plans, and collaborating with families and staff.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education, 3+ years as a lead teacher with infant/toddler experience, and may be bilingual in English and

Job description

The job of Child Development Lead (Family Center) is done for the purpose/s of adhering to the guidelines of the Early Head Start Performance Standards in the education plan, in conjunction with Illinois Birth to Three standards, and DCFS Licensing Standards for Child Care programs, as well as the District 65 Evanston Early Learning Standards.

Qualifications

Experience: Job related experience is desired.

Education: Targeted, job related education with study in job-related area.

Equivalency:

-Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or Equivalent

-30 hours in Child Development, including Infant/Toddler coursework

-PEL with Early Childhood (Birth - 3 years old) endorsement preferred

Salary/Benefits

Salary Range: $40,000-47,000
