Job summary

Baptist Health Lexington's Child Development Center is seeking a part-time, PRN Child Development Worker to supervise and plan activities for a group of children in a safe, nurturing environment. The role focuses on developmentally appropriate learning, daily attendance, and clear communication with families and staff.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of related experience, and knowledge of developmental milestones.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and plan for a group of children, maintaining a safe and nurturing learning environment.
• Assess readiness of children and support development.
• Document daily attendance and prepare accident/incident reports.
• Maintain health-related forms and ensure CPR/First Aid certificates are current.
• Communicate effectively with children, families and staff.
• Encourage play-based learning and emotional wellbeing.
