Job summary

Hopebridge in Valparaiso, IN is hiring a Child Development Specialist to foster skill development and functional communication in children with autism. The role offers paid training and on-the-job RBT certification support, with a schedule Monday through Friday and opportunities for growth.

You will work directly with BCBA supervision, documenting progress and supporting families through development programs and center-based activities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment that fosters skill acquisition, functional communication, and school readiness for children.
• Learn directly from Board Certified Behavior Analysts to provide therapy that transforms lives.
• Review behavior plans and instructional materials to ensure consistent implementation and monitor outcomes.
• Complete daily progress notes related to the intervention plan.
• Work with children to promote skill acquisition and functional communication, peer interactions, and school readiness.
• Celebrate milestones and support families throughout the process.
