• Use standardized tests such as ADOS-2, CARS-2, WPPSI-IV, WISC-V, WIAT-4 in assessments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians and therapists.

Job description

Pediatric/Clinical Psychologist – Temple – Baylor Scott & White Health McLane Children's Medical Center

We are looking for a pediatric psychologist with expertise in autism and developmental disabilities to join our Child Development section. The primary focus of the position is diagnostic evaluation and assessment of children with autism, learning and behavioral difficulties, with an opportunity to provide evidence‑based treatment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations for autism spectrum disorder, intellectual and learning disabilities.
• Use a wide range of psychological tests (e.g., ADOS‑2 Modules 1‑4, CARS‑2, WPPSI‑IV, WISC‑V, WIAT‑4).
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including developmental pediatricians, speech therapists, and occupational therapists.
• Provide evidence‑based treatment where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical child or pediatric psychology from an APA accredited graduate doctoral program.
• Completed an APA accredited internship in clinical child or pediatric psychology.
• Formal postdoctoral fellowship training in autism or related area preferred.
• Texas license to practice psychology (or license‑eligible in Texas).
• Board certification through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) or professional trajectory including board certification when eligible.
