Family Development Services in Indianapolis is seeking a passionate Child Development and Education Specialist to lead educational initiatives and coach Head Start staff across centers.

You will guide curriculum implementation, support school readiness goals, and ensure compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards while fostering continuous improvement and strong community engagement.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with preschool teaching coursework.
• Preschool teaching experience required; state-awarded preschool certification preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct weekly classroom observations and provide feedback.

Job Details: Job Location: Administration Offices - Indianapolis, IN, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: 4 Year Degree, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Family Development Services is seeking a passionate and experienced Child Development and Education Specialist to provide educational leadership and coaching support for one or more Head Start/Early Head Start centers. This position serves as the instructional leader for assigned centers, ensuring high-quality implementation of curriculum, assessment, school readiness goals, and Head Start Program Performance Standards.

Key Responsibilities
