Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Child Development Aide to support the lead teacher in delivering a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs in a nurturing classroom.

This full-time, first-shift position runs 8:30am–5:00pm. You will assist during meals, help sanitize spaces, and support planning and implementation of activities that foster early learning across core development areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Fifteen (15) hours annual training as approved by Cabinet for Human Resources standard for Childcare Centers required post-hire

• Assist in during mealtimes, make meals a pleasant learning experience, and model good health practices.
• Sanitize indoor and outdoor areas as needed to provide a safe environment, keeping the rooms neat, cheerful, and interesting.
• Assist in planning, preparing, and implementing the curriculum.
• Assist in providing opportunities to help develop children's understanding of concepts and ideas.
