CICONIX, a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) specializing in military and Veterans healthcare, is seeking a dedicated Child Counselor to support the US Navy’s Fleet & Family Support Program (NFFSP). This is an exciting opportunity to provide specialized counseling services to children and families affected by family violence or child abuse.
Locations: This role offers remote flexibility, with residence required within 100 miles of the following cities:
Job Overview: As a Child Counselor, you will deliver crisis intervention, non-medical counseling, and advocacy services to children exposed to family violence or child abuse. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring the emotional well-being and safety of these children through short-term counseling and case management. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical personnel and family advocates, to provide holistic care.
