Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, family counseling, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience related to child development or family dynamics.
• Forty hours of mediation training by a qualified instructor.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred; independence and court-system familiarity are assets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct orientation sessions for clients in custody mediation.
• Provide a confidential, non-adversarial setting to facilitate resolutions.
• Facilitate mediation sessions using neutral techniques to reach agreements.
• Apply knowledge of child development and family dynamics to guide decisions.
• Draft parenting agreements reflecting the best interests of children.
• Interact with courts and the court community to build confidence in mediation.
• Perform administrative and case management tasks in Enterprise Justice.
