Job summary

XCAL Shooting Sports and Fitness seeks a friendly Child Center Team Member to engage children ages 1–11 in safe, fun activities within the Child Activity Center. You will greet guests, lead stories, crafts, and games, and ensure a clean, secure play space.

The role requires availability to work evenings and weekends, with first aid and CPR/AED certifications completed within 60 days. Join a family-owned, service-oriented facility with member perks.

Qualifications

• First Aid certification required, within first 60 days of hire.
• CPR/AED certification (Infant/Child/Adult) required within the first 60 days of hire.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with members, guests, and children in a friendly, professional manner.
• Engages children in structured activities such as storytelling, arts & crafts, singing, and games.
• Monitors safety and maintains a hygienic environment in the Child Activity Center.
• Maintains cleanliness of the Child Activity Center following the cleaning checklist.
• Promotes XCAL programs, products, and services to guests and members.

Position Summary

A Child Center Team Member provides exceptional fitness-minded children's engagement. Organizes and implements safe, fun, engaging and entertaining activities and games for children between the ages of 1 to 11 years in the Child Activity Center.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets, acknowledges, and interacts with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Engages children in interactive activities that include storytelling, organized arts and crafts, singing, and games in the Child Activity Center.
• Monitors and interacts with children to maintain a safe and healthy environment with respect to the toys, equipment, other children, and surroundings.
• Maintains the Child Activity Center by following the cleaning checklist and performing assigned tasks.
• Promotes and XCAL programs, products and services.

Position Requirements

• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire.
• Completion of all state or federal requirements prior to first day of work.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (as needed).

Preferred Requirements

• Experience working with children.
