A leading charity organization in Sacramento seeks a Child Care Worker to assist with childcare and supervision at the Crisis Nursery. The Sacramento Crisis Nursery is a family-strengthening program offering emergency childcare and overnight care for children ages 0-5 during family crises. Our mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect by supporting families in need.
The Child Care Worker I or II, supervised by the Crisis Nursery Supervisor and guided by the Lead Childcare Worker, assists with child care and supervision, ensuring children's health, safety, and basic needs are met, and household standards are maintained.
Location: 4533 Pasadena Ave., Sacramento, CA 95821
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm, with mandatory Wednesday staff meeting from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
High school diploma or GED required. Completion of 12 semester units in Early Childhood Education or related fields preferred. Six months of experience in a licensed care setting is preferred. A degree in related fields is advantageous. Valid driver’s license, insurance, and minimum age of 21 are required.
