VASA Fitness is seeking a Child Care Team Lead to supervise the club's KidCare program and lead a dedicated team of caregivers. You will ensure a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children and families during every visit, while coaching staff to uphold high standards of service and safety.

The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and the ability to create upbeat, structured activities that align with our community-centric mission.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading teams in child care or related environments.
• Experience coaching or mentoring others in a people-focused environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and develop a reliable, high-performing KidCare team.
• Deliver a consistently safe, clean, and engaging child care experience.
• Maintain compliance with all required background checks, safety scans, and child care regulation to ensure a safe environment for every child.
• Ensure KidCare playbooks, safety standards, and procedures are followed at all times.
• Create age-appropriate programming that keeps children engaged and excited to return.
• Support families by providing a trusted, welcoming environment every day.

HOW YOU WILL CHANGE LIVES

The Child Care Team Lead (CCTL) is the leader of the club's KidCare program. You'll build and develop a high-performing child care team while ensuring every child receives safe, fun, and age-appropriate care during every visit.

Your leadership allows parents to focus on their fitness with confidence, knowing their children are supported in a clean, engaging, and well-run environment. By coaching your team, maintaining safety standards, and creating a positive experience for families, you'll help make VASA a place members trust and return to.

• Compensation: Base rate of $16.95 per hour
• Split-Shift Schedule: This role works a consistent split shift from 8:00am--12:00pm and 4:00pm--8:00pm, with a break in the middle of the day

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years of experience leading or supporting teams in child care , education, youth programs, or related environments
• Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a people-focused environment
